This is truly the land I love. I grew up in Dallas, and have spent time in East Texas where my ancestors were early settlers of the Republic. I've lived in College Station, Houston, and Austin, and I've worked in West Texas. What a great state! The terrain ranges from the rugged and beautiful mountains to the coastal areas in the Gulf, with mesas, plains, piney woods, and the hill country in between.

While all the state has a unique beauty, that beauty is really the hearts of the people who live here. Texans are a proud lot. While I love to travel and see the world, I'm always glad to get home to the friendly folks of Texas.
